The 2010 awards event marked the 13th anniversary of the Fast Track 100 league table and was held at Sir Richard Branson's family home in Oxfordshire on 12 May.

Robert Waddington, Managing Director at PMSS said:

“We were delighted to attend the Fast Track 100 awards dinner which proved to be an inspirational evening and underlined critical success factors such as perseverance, resilience, honesty and passion for what we do, and reinforced the importance of the PMSS core values.”

The conference featured speakers Sally Hopson from Pets At Home, Nick Wheeler, founder and chairman of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts, and James Averdieck, founder and managing director of Gü Chocolate Puds. The afternoon concluded with an hour's Q&A session led by Richard Branson.

Rob Waddington continued to say:

“It was nice to appreciate how well we have done and how far we have come, especially with the recent recession, and the need to learn lessons from what we’ve done and what we can do better. What's more the importance of entrepreneurial flair to make a difference and not follow the crowd was an important theme. It was a day to feel proud about our achievements and inspired by our future potential.”

The sponsors presented a number of special awards for excellence, one of which was the “Green Award” sponsored by Virgin, where PMSS were the runners-up.
